A southern California native, Linsey has always felt a strong interest in doing hair and make-up. She aspired to make people feel good about themselves, and this industry was just the way to do that. After she graduated high school, she went straight into beauty school in Portland, Oregon and was able to learn under many of the Paul Mitchell national educators which was a very shaping experience for the start of her career.

Linsey learned about Face It! in high school and came here many times, and fell in love with the environment. She knew instantly that this was where she belonged. So when she finished school in Portland, she came home to Eugene and started at Face It! in September of 2011. 

Outside of work, Linsey's life consists of spending time with her long term boyfriend and taking care of her "kids", her two kitties, Nala and Binx. When asked about her favorite part of working at Face It! Linsey expressed that the girls that work here have made it such a fun and welcoming experience, and she, "always has a reason to smile" when she comes to work. With her positive attitude and professional work ethic, Linsey has already played a role in making Face It! the warm environment that it is.

Katrina joined the Face It! team in April 2010 in hopes of joining a trendy and passionate team, which is exactly what she got. She loved it so much that in April of 2011, she purchased Face It! and has really taken this salon to a new level. Her fresh ideas and keen sense for style has continued to develop Face It! into it's full potential. 

Throughout her entire life, Katrina always had a persistent interest in visual art. She could commonly be found in the art room in school, and had the intent to pursue a visual communications degree after graduating high school. However, she didn't realize until after moving to Seattle that she would find her real passion in the salon.
Katrina is one of our most trained and experienced professionals. She is currently a technical specialist with Wella, Sebastian and Nioxin. The plethora of expertise that Kat offers has taken her to amazing places such as Berlin and takes her on the road almost weekly to, "stay ahead of the trends," says Katrina. 

As a traveling Wella educator, Katrina helps Face It! stay at the top of its "style game" by bringing back new and fashionable ways to make people feel and look beautiful. Katrina expresses that her passion for this industry stems from her desire to make people feel amazing and teach them ways to enhance their beauty. She feels privileged as an artist to be able to travel and share her knowledge with other passionate stylists, and grow as an artist by learning from them as well. 

Katrina's fun-loving attitude and love for her profession make her a joy to work with. She loves coming to work, as it is "more play than work", and keeps the salon a fun place to be with her contagious laughter. She welcomes clients of all ages into her chair, and is sure that they walk out of the salon with a smile on their face and new-found feeling of confidence and beauty.

She offers all types of hair styles and colors, including extensions. Her experience speaks for itself.
She has also introduced feather extensions to the store which have quickly become a client favorite. Her training has given her an edge and an eye for styling that makes her work even more amazing.

Cassie has many returning clients, not only because of her immense skill, but because of her fun-loving personality and commitment exceeding clients' expectations.

Even though it took 24 hours and two flight delays, our Face it! ladies made it to L.A. for the Makeup Show.
The show offered seminars by the industry's best and they made the most of that opportunity. It was a resource for all types of people in the cosmetic industry to learn and grow from each other. The ladies were surrounded by the people of L.A., trying the makeup and other products they saw, and soaking up all the inspiring ideas.

The show offered more seminars and opportunities then the girls could even participate in. They spent the
entire day making the most of their time and experiencing all they could at the L.A. Market Center. This is the
third year that the show came to the West Coast and the ladies of Face it! were so excited to be a part of it.

One seminar that the ladies enjoyed was on South Seas tanning spray. The product was started by a husband and wife together. The woman (seen above) was diagnosed with skin cancer. In her attempt to give men and women another option for glowing skin, she created a line that has essential oils and natural healing ingredients that can actually improve your skin. The girls loved it. The story, the product, the smell, and the look are perfect and we hope to bring it into Face it! in the near future.

As seen in the picture above, the ladies went to the workshop for Cover FX. It is a primer and foundation line that has clinically proven results that reduce wrinkles, fibronectin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. The product turned damaged skin due to Rosacea into a flawless, healthy-looking, smooth complexion. Our ladies and owners love the product and we want you to try it too!

The ladies also learned and tried the up-and-coming trend of airbrushed make-up. This revolutionary idea has changed the way film-makers and celebrities do their make-up. We hope to explore the idea and learn how we can make it a possibility for the people of Eugene, Springfield. We would love to give you a fresh, clean look for a special event with air-brushed make-up!

Naked was another favorite product the ladies found because it is so versatile. At first glance it looks like a beautiful, shimmery, loose eyeshadow. They quickly learned that it is that, but much more as well. Not only can it be used as an eyeshadow, but as an eyeliner, a nail polish, for lips, as a bronzer, and as a temporary hair highlighter.So many uses for such a seemingly simple product. It is versatile, and more importantly, it is healthy. It is made with 100% oxidized mica, which means no oils, waxes, or filters that can harm the skin. Our ladies also learned about other cosmetic products that they instantly fell in love with. From cosmetic brushes to Shadow Shields, there are so many new ideas and that were inspired by the Makeup Show.

Not only were the ladies learning from the Makeup Show, but also from the people around them. They went out and experienced L.A. and got to see the trends from one of the biggest cities in the United States.

Both of our owners, Jodi Auxier and Paula Kongsore, went to the show and are ready to vamp up the store! These are all things we plan to use at Face it! to give our clients and customers the freshest trends
and newest techniques.

She grew up doing her own nails and made it a career as an adult. She is a perfectionist and every client leaves with amazing nails, whether it is a simple manicure or acrylic nails.
